We loved absolutely everything about this resort! As this was our first time in Phuket, we weren’t sure what to expect, but the Mandarva truly exceeded our expectations. The resort itself is huge and we liked that the rooms were in blocks of 4 as opposed to a traditional hotel corridor There were multiple pools surrounded by beautiful greenery. There was a pool located directly outside our room which was perfect and we were always able to access sun loungers which were comfortable Each of the pools we visited had their own bar which was perfect for 4pm-6pm happy hour! Also, we ordered food most days at the pool bar which was delicious and was brought straight to your sun lounger, a real treat The staff were so lovely and accommodating to any request. It was my birthday during our stay and they kindly delivered a delicious cake to our room and had written “Happy Birthday” in flowers on the bed which was a lovely touch The rooms were huge and super clean, were refreshed everyday with clean bedding, towels, and robes and the fridge was restocked with drinking water each day which was perfect. I loved the hotel provided umbrellas and a beach bag during the stay which came in so handy! The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and complimentary which was so lovely, we really felt at home here. Breakfast each morning was fab and food was constantly replenished with a great selection. The views from breakfast are spectacular also! If you are on the fence, I couldn’t recommend this stunning resort enough. It’s only a 10/15 minute journey away from Patong which was ideal for us as we weren’t too fussed about being in amongst the hustle and bustle of Bangla Road but still wanted to be close enough.

We have the best impression of the hotel: magnificent well-kept grounds, the houses are buried in the jungle. It was always a pleasure to return to the hotel and to the room. The room and bathroom are spacious. Very comfortable bed, good sound insulation. We chose a room on the second floor - the view from the balcony was amazing: pool and sea. All five pools are very picturesque, when we swam in our pool there were coconuts hanging above our heads. When you walk around the territory of the resort, you get the feeling that there are no tourists, and only in the morning at breakfast you realize that the hotel is full. We liked the breakfast: dishes for all tastes, good choice, lots of fruits. There are two good restaurants, one is open all day, the second in the evenings. You can feel the care for the guests: there are bathrobes, beach slippers, a large rattan beach bag in the room, and a clothes dryer on the balcony. Beach towels are always available near the pools and in the lobby. All the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. At first it seemed to us that it was a bit far to walk to the sea and that we had to take public transport from the hotel. Then we got used to it and didn’t experience any discomfort, sometimes we took public transport from the hotel, sometimes we walked. You can take it. tuk-tuk (200 baht).

Everything was perfect, from the location to the facilities. Lovely little touches in the room such as bath robes, beach bag, flip flops and umbrellas. The location is up a hill set in the trees, with lovely views. There is a beach shuttle, although we didn't use it. The food at the hotel is very good and breakfast was amazing. We dined out at EAT steak house (10 mins in a Bolt) which was exceptional. The rooms were spacious and airy, with a lovely outside area to sit. Lots of different pool areas to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a problem with a noise coming from a cupboard which was rectified immediately. Everything is catered for at the hotel so you really don't have to venture far (I would have been happy just staying there for the dew days we were in Phuket!).

The hotel is in a great location not far from the main street and the famous Karon beach. There are lots of restaurants and bars along the main strip and you can walk to Karon beach it will take you roughly 5mins. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus service that will take you to and from the beach. The pools within the hotel resort are clean and lovely and the staff are so friendly ready to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. I would definitely recommend this resort. If there is a negative then it would be that the hotel is located on a slight slope/ hill which meant there are a lot of stairs to climb in order to get to the main restaurant and the other facilities within the resort. But other than that the resort is lovely.

Lovely resort a little out of the way of Karon but an easy walk to town and 150 baht tuk tuk back. Yes it is on a hillside but the drivers were there to take you to your room anytime day or night. We were able to walk to breakfast and back from our room and also 2 of the 5 pools. We had a sea fan room which was a decent size had a lovely balcony with water views and a desk and window nook. Could not fault the staff, nothing was too much trouble and all requests were dealt with promptly . Local restaurants very close by. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
